- Directions for use: Pumie works best in the presence of a liquid such as water, a mild acid or oil. Wet the stick and then rub the edge of the stick on the surface you wish to clean using back and forth strokes. A paste build up will help to clean and polish the surface. Once satisfied, wash the residue off the surface with water. To rinse, hold the stick under running water.
