QR5 Test Strips for Testing QUAT Sanitizers
The QR5 quat test papers and strips by FryOilSaver Co. utilize a phenomenon known as the “protein-error of indicators” to measure QAC ppm levels. Although initially observed with proteins, this technique employs pH indicators and buffering systems to create an environment where the test paper or strip reacts (changing color) in proportion to the amount of analyte (QAC) present. FryOilSaver Co.’s quat test papers and strips feature color charts calibrated to solutions made from OASIS 146, a standard quat product in the industry.

How to use FryOilSaver Co. QR5 Test Paper
- Remove QR5 test paper from the vial. Do not to touch the strip anywhere other than where you grasp it with your fingertips.
- Dip about 1″ of test paper into the solution to be tested for 1 second.
- Allow 5-10 seconds to develop, then compare to the color chart.
Chlorine Test Strips for Bleach & Chlorine Sanitizers
The FryOilSaver Co. Chlorine Test Paper swiftly measures total available chlorine within the range of 0-200ppm, providing rapid results. Total available chlorine is the sum of free available chlorine and the combined available chlorine. Our chlorine test paper is commonly employed to assess the potency of solutions utilized for surface sanitization, particularly prevalent in industries such as restaurants. Typically, bleach is employed to produce the available chlorine in these applications.

The FryOilSaver Co. Chlorine test strips work extremely well with Stera Sheen Green Label sanitizers. Like all sanitizers, Stera Sheen must be mixed to the correct ppm. These strips can help you get the perfect mix every time!
How to use FryOilSaver Co. Chlorine Test Paper
- Use dry fingers to remove a chlorine test paper strip from the vial.
- Dip the test strip into the solution to be tested, and do not agitate.
- Remove and compare to the color chart immediately.
- Testing should be done at least once daily in smaller restaurants, and more frequently in busy establishments as each time the rinse solution is used, it will get slightly diluted.
Convenient Color Matching Charts
Each vial includes a color matching chart, making the testing process straightforward. Simply dip a strip into the sanitizer solution, wait for the color to develop, and then match it with the provided chart. The chart is precisely calibrated to measure from 0 to 200ppm for Quatenary strips and from 0 to 400ppm for Chlorine strips, guaranteeing precise results.
