Manual fryer oil filtration is a cooking oil filtering process. Catering businesses that do not have electric fry oil filtering machines use this system.
Steps to carry out manual cooking oil filtration: Remove the oil from the deep fryer after it has cooled down to between 250 and 300 degrees. Fit either an EZ Flow filter system or a cone filter system to a receiving pot. Drain the oil from the fryer pots into a receiving pot. Clean the deep fryer with a boil out product before returning the filtered oil to the fryer pots. Make sure the fryer is completely dry before adding the filtered oil. Add fry powder and fry liquid to the clean oil to reduce oil break down and replenish oxidants.
